How much do we pay for your Beanies?


The price we depends on what styles you have.
There are almost 2000 different styles of Beanies out there, with a wide price range. As a general guide, all of the mass-produced styles, called 'commons' are usually worth .40c each. Since TY made millions and millions of each style, they don't have a 'collectible value' anymore. If you have any rare or hard to find pieces, they can be worth significantly more! The price of your Beanies depends on several factors, including the condition of the Beanie and tag, the generation of the tags, and of course, the actual Beanies you have. There are over 600 styles that have been produced in the past 10 years, so in order to give you a price, we would need to see them. You can bring them into one of our buying centers or mail them into our Streamwood, IL headquarters. We offer free appraisals/quotes with no obligation to sell.

Which ones do we NOT buy?
We will NOT buy the following:
  • Common Beanies that are creased or have damaged swing or tush tags
  • Common Beanies that are dirty
  • Common Beanies that are missing the swing or tush tag
  • Common Beanies that have writing on the swing or tush tag
  • Common Beanies that have a price tag on the swing or tush tag
  • Common Beanies that have been played with and are worn or soiled
  • Common Beanies that are discolored
  • Common Beanies that have a bad odor, especially animal scents, smoke, or other home odors

The Rare Ones
Then, there are a bunch of styles that are worth more serious money. These are the older, rare styles like Humphrey, Chilly, Peking, Slither, Trap, Web, Flutter, Caw, Bumble and more. For prices on these styles, there are several factors which determine the value, such as condition of the Beanie, condition of the hang tag, any marks or writing on the Beanie, and the Beanie's generation. For that reason, we need to see your Beanies before we can give you a price. Unfortunately, that's the only way we can appraise your collection properly - in person. We cannot do it over the phone. Hopefully, though, this has given you a good idea of what your Beanies may be worth.
